1) Data We Collect
- Tab metadata and web history context: tab URL, title, window/group associations, and timestamps needed to save and restore sessions/groups.
- User-provided organization data: tags, group names, session names, and extension preferences.
- Account identifier (optional): if sign-in/sync is enabled, an account identifier (for example, email or profile ID) may be processed to sync your saved data.
2) Data We Do Not Collect for Unrelated Purposes
TabVault does not collect health data, financial/payment information, personal communications, or precise location for unrelated purposes.
3) How We Use Data
- Save and restore tab groups/sessions.
- Enable search, tagging, duplicate cleanup, and tab organization workflows.
- Optionally sync saved workspace data across your own devices.
4) Permissions and Purpose Limitation
Permissions requested by TabVault are only used to fulfill its tab organization and restore purpose. Unnecessary permissions are not requested.
5) Remote Code
TabVault does not load or execute remotely hosted code. All executable extension code is packaged with the published extension version.
6) Data Storage and Retention
Saved sessions, groups, and preferences are stored locally in your browser storage unless you explicitly enable sync/backup features. You can delete saved data from within the extension at any time.
7) Your Choices
- Review and delete saved sessions/groups from the TabVault UI.
- Disable optional sync features (if available).
- Uninstall the extension to stop data processing by TabVault.
